Ready for a close up...

We were thrilled when Honey was chosen to have her photo in the 'Welcome to the World' section of Your Cotswold Family's Winter edition! It's such a great magazine for anyone with kids whether you live in the area or not. As well as information about local activities and events, there are also lots of competitions and interesting, useful articles about family issues. There are also loads of gorgeous clothes featured in the magazine, all modelled by local children and many of the shoots are done at local landmarks, go Cotswolds! Honey instantly took to Tara (the magazine editor) and Anne Marie (the photographer) and was soon flashing a range of expressions for the camera, what a fabulous experience!

Splish Splash

Given our backgrounds in the leisure industry, my husband and I were keen for Honey to feel happy in the water. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to have a water birth but we did take her swimming for the first time when she was 7 weeks old and have continued to take her regularly ever since.  Honey's favourite thing to do is to float around in her pink seat and gabble away at anyone who passes her while our favourite thing is to play ring o ring o roses and we all know how that ends...

Two Front Teeth

Thanks to my recent run of good luck, Honey had her baby photo shoot this week at Two Front Teeth Photography in Cheltenham. The prize included a photo shoot and some vouchers towards prints. John, the photographer, was brilliant with Honey and got her to make all kinds of faces in different poses. Choosing which photos to buy is going to be a real challenge as from the sneaky peeks we were given, they all look a-ma-zing!
